One of two former college athletes talking sports, what were the odds?

With equal parts knowledge and humour, Barry Macdonald, was one half of the Bmac Rintoul Team 1040 morning sports commentators, which truly offered daily commuters something to look forward to.

Barry was always willing to talk Canucks, however the puck didn’t stop there. Regular insiders like ESPN’s Dan Shulman, the Lions’ Dave Dickenson, and Kraig Kann of The Golf Channel ensured listeners were up to speed on everything from baseball’s pennant race to Tiger Woods’ title chases. And, if it was NFL you wanted, these pigskin junkies delivered you the superb gridiron goods, stemming from the annual draft to the presentation of the coveted Lombardi trophy.

They were serious about their sports but not themselves. They were knowledgeable and very funny.
