Richmond Raptors took second place in a Developmentally Challenged Youth Basketball Association tournament last weekend in New Westminster.

The result qualifies the team, coached by R.A. McMath Secondary alumni Adam Rogers and Kyle Watson, to participate in this Saturday’s Telus Basketball Classic at University of BC.

The Raptors would like to encourage more players to join their team. Those interested are invited to attend Monday practices from 7:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. at the West Richmond Community Centre. For more details, e-mail coach Rogers at mr.longball@hotmail.com.
