Canadian Scouting Report
Canadian Scouting Report was founded by Michael Clarkson in 1974 and ran until 1976, scouting high school basketball players across the country for 30 colleges, universities and the Canadian men’s national team.
Among the players scouted were Jay Triano (Simon Fraser U), Leo Rautins (Syracuse U),
Kirk Randa (U Washington), Howard Kelsey (Oklahoma State), and Eli Pasquale (Victoria), who went on to the national squad.
CSR also selected the first all-Canadian high school teams, which appeared in the prestigious Street and Smith’s Yearbooks and caught the eye of college coaches across North America.
