About The Classic

The TELUS BASKETBALL CLASSIC was one of North America’s most unique and largest high school basketball tournaments. With over 2,000 athletes (128 competing school teams), and approx. $100,000 to award annually – mostly in scholarships, plus gifts and other awards. This event represented one of the largest and most exciting pre-season high school tournaments of each year.

The experience of our Directors participating in high quality sporting events from high school tournaments right up to the Olympics and NBA championships helped to shape this unique tournament concept.
